Fisterra Dress by Itch to Stitch
Well, I am back after taking a few months off from pattern testing. Life has just been busy and pattern testing takes a pretty big chunk of time, so it just haven’t made it a priority. However, when I saw the testing call for the Fisterra pattern, I knew I needed to make the time! Kennis, the designer behind Itch to Stitch, really is one of the most pattern designers I have come across. The pattern construction is always top notch and the fit is almost always spot on, even in the first version of the test. She is very talented. So with that said, I would like to introduce…

Castillo Cardigan by Itch to Stitch
This year I have been all about sewing layering pieces. This is one area of my wardrobe that has been lacking quite a bit, even though I wear them all the time. As we begin to transition into summer, I appreciate an easy layering piece even more. The Castillo Cardigan by Itch to Stitch is exactly what I needed. The Castillo Cardigan has a raglan sleeve with shoulder darts to give a great fit! I love the casual feel of the open cardigan, with the side slits and the hood. Oh, and lets not forget about the pockets!! The best cardigans have pockets! I would say this is a great…

Sabalito Top by Itch to Stitch
I am absolutely loving the wrap top trend that I have been seeing lately. If you do not believe me, just check out my “Inspire my Wardrobe” board on Pinterest 🙂 When Kennis with Itch to Stitch released the testing call for her newest pattern, I knew I had to have it! I mean look at it!! The Sabalito Top is relaxed top with dolman sleeves. It is super comfortable and easy to put together. But, in true Itch to Stitch form, there is a unique twist to the pattern, with the overlapping front panels that create the ties. As for my version, I sewed up a size 0, B…

Atenas Jacket by Itch to Stitch
Hello Everyone! I have been meaning to share the details on my latest make for some time now, but life just kept getting in the way. But I am here now 🙂 Anyway, I am here to share the details on the Atenas Jacket by Itch to Stitch. I have made a lot of things over the years and I honestly think that I am the proudest of this jacket. I absolutely love it! I have been wanting a good, casual jacket for some time now and I haven’t been able to find one in the stores that fit well and that wasn’t super expensive. When Kennis with Itch to…

Orono Top by Itch to Stitch
Another cozy, comfy top added to my wardrobe, which is perfect because it seems Arizona decided to participate in the winter season this year. I have been so cold, so I am very grateful for the new Fabric.com. You can even search by the stretch percentage on the left hand -side. I think that pretty much wraps it up. I would love to know what you think about the Orono Top. *This post does contain affiliate links.

Envigado Vest by Itch to Stitch
Sometimes I sign up to test patterns because I simply love the design and it fills a hole in my wardrobe, and sometimes I sign up to test because I love a good challenge. In this case, it happens to be both of those reasons. I learned last year that I love wearing vests on chilly, Arizona days. For me, vests seem to supply just enough warmth, while also giving me extra pockets, which always seems necessary. So when Kennis (Itch to Stitch) asked for testers for her new Envigado Vest, I jumped on it! I even ordered fabric and supplies before the test began, which I never do. However,…

The Uvita Add-On Pattern by Itch to Stitch
My first Pattern Test of 2019 is a good one!! The Uvita Add-On Pattern by Itch to Stitch. The Uvita Top by Itch to Stitch was released last year as a free pattern. It is such a great staple pattern. The original Uvita is a relaxed, knit top that has a drop shoulder and 2 sleeve options. I have seen a lot of pattern hacks done on the pattern this year, but I am excited to say that Kennis has done the work for you and released a new Add-on pattern! There are so many possibilities with this add-on pattern. I chose to make a my top with a hood,…
