HAND SEWING
BOO/FALL Banner | Ages 6+

The classic Seasonal Felt Banner! Kids can choose between sewing a “BOO” banner or a “FALL” banner. No previous sewing experience is required. I’ll have all of the pieces precut so the kids can get started sewing right away.
Fall Wreath | Ages 6+
Tuesdays, October 13–27

This is a three-part hand-sewing class. Kids will create felt ornaments for a 12″ wreath, with different precut options for traditional fall or Halloween. The ornaments will be interchangeable, so they can switch up their wreath throughout the season. A 12″ wreath is included.
Turkey Stuffie | Ages 6+
Tuesdays, November 3 & 10

This cute little turkey will be a fun addition to your Thanksgiving decorations! This is a two-part hand-sewing class. Most of the pieces will be precut, with the exception of the feathers.
BEGINNER SEWING
Beginners: Learn to Sew | Ages 7+

This course is designed for kids ages 7 and older with no previous sewing experience. We’ll begin with the basics of hand sewing and then move into machine sewing.
Projects include a felt keychain, embroidery hoop, bookmark, pillowcase, and string backpack.
The minimum age is 7, but please only register your child if they can comfortably and accurately use large scissors and are able to remain focused for 1½ hours in a group setting.
Teen Beginners: Learn to Sew | Ages 11+

This beginner course is specifically for older kids and teens. We’ll start with the basics of hand sewing and then move into machine sewing.
Projects include an embroidery hoop, bookmark, geometric pillow, and a pair of pajama pants.
Beyond Basics: Prerequisite: Students should be comfortable using a sewing machine and have completed a beginner sewing class or have equivalent sewing experience

Creating special touches for your own bedroom can be so much fun! This class is all about making cozy, cute projects for their space. We’ll make a double-sided jersey blanket, a quilted decorative pillow, a name banner, and a small storage basket.
Little Elves

I haven’t offered this class in a few years, and I’m excited to bring it back! It’s a fun spin on the stuffed friends we’ve sewn over the years.
We’ll make two stuffed elves, and with the remaining class time, we’ll sew clothes and accessories for our little friends.
Witch & Wizard Gnomes

I’ve offered this class in the past, and it is always a blast! Kids will make a Halloween tote bag—perfect for trick-or-treating—and a Halloween shirt by appliquéing a design onto a ready-to-wear shirt.
And because every party is better with cookies 😊, I’ll also have sugar cookies, frosting, and sprinkles for the kids to decorate and take home!
Scarecrow Gnomes

The Scarecrow Gnomes are honestly my favorite! Think denim and flannel with a little bit of straw. 😊 Each student will make a boy and girl scarecrow gnome.
Pilgrim Gnomes

These are the gnomes that started it all! The Pilgrim Gnomes were the first gnomes we made three years ago, and that’s when we all fell in love with them. 😊 Students will make a boy and girl Pilgrim gnome.
Next Level: Prerequisite: Students should be confident and independent using a sewing machine and have completed several sewing classes or have equivalent sewing experience. These classes introduce more advanced techniques and projects that require greater accuracy, patience, and attention to detail.
Quilted Seasons
Tuesdays, October 6–November 24

I have officially gotten the quilting bug, and I cannot wait to share it!
This eight-week class will focus on Foundation Paper Piecing—basically, sewing by number! Because Foundation Paper Piecing is a little more intricate, I recommend this class for students who already have a few sewing classes under their belt.
We’ll start by quilting either a candy corn or star square and turning it into a cinch bag. Then students will quilt either a pumpkin or gingerbread pillow.
Private Lessons:
The cost for a private lesson is $40/hour. If you had a friend/sibling that wanted to join the private lesson then it is an addition $10 per person per hour. For most projects, I will ask you to provide your own fabric or pay a supplies fees. This can be discussed case by case.

I was hoping to have two teens do your beg class if you have space. Is that 3 days or 1 day any of those three days?
We have a two week break and would love to have them do a class. They are both very creative and want to learn to sew.

Hello! I am in SE Gilbert, AZ. I will have some classes in July. The summer schedule will be ready for registration next week. As for price, it depends on the class. The 10 hour beginners class is currently $160, and that does include all supplies. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! Jen
